Saturday, 27 March 2010, to introduce more about Indonesian Capital Market as another alternative for investment in Batam , Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) held an event named Indonesian Capital Market Socialization, which its theme was ”Prospek Investasi di Pasar Modal”. This event was held in Cendana Ballroom – Hotel Novotel, Batam.

It presented the Director of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) - Ms. Friderica Widyasari Dewi, the Director of Indonesian Clearing and Guarantee Corporation (KPEI) - Mr. Bambang Widodo, the Director of Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) - Mr. Trisnadi Yulrisman, the President Director of PT Phillip Securities Indonesia – Mr. Daniel Tedja, and the Financial Consultant of PT Phillip Securities Indonesia – Mr. John Aldrin.

More and less than 200 people were invited as an investor and non investor.

From the IHSG chart, Ms. Friderica explained that Indonesia Capital Market is growing up and the crisis period is over.

Mr. Bambang also explained about the functional of KPEI as a guarantee of Indonesian stocks.

Mr. Trisnadi said that AkSes, as a new system from KSEI, facilitates investors to monitor their portfolios, without broker or dealer’s help.

Mr. Daniel Tedja gave tips to do online trading easily and secure, and also do transaction anytime and anywhere.

The last presentation was global and local market review by Mr. John.

After those presentations, question and answer forum was opened around capital market and market review, and finished with door price for the participants.
